What’s in a Uniform?
Carolina fans have always been vocal when it comes to what their team wears on the basketball court. Whether it is superstition or just our acute fashion sense, any change to UNC’s uniform makes us nervous.
The Rural Buffer
One of my favorite pastimes is to head out of town for a scenic bike ride or drive in the country. Thanks to the Rural Buffer, this beautiful countryside is just a few minutes away.
Old Greensboro Road
My all-time favorite country drive actually starts within the town limits of Carrboro, NC. Just take a right onto Old Greensboro Road, and enjoy the immediate rural landscape.
Calvander Loop
One of the most scenic drives in the Chapel Hill area I call the Calvander Loop, because it begins and ends at Calvander Food Mart, located at 108 Dairyland Road, Chapel Hill, NC, on the corner of Highway Old NC 86.
Girls Rock NC
Where do you go if you are a young girl and want to rock out on stage in the Triangle Area? Before Girls Rock NC was founded in 2003, the options were scarce.
