Tuesday, August 21st was the first day of classes for UNC-Chapel Hill students attending the 2012-13 academic year. There is always an overnight infusion of youthful energy when the students arrive back in town.
Fortunately for the Triangle area, Dr. Edgar “Bud” Parsons brought his luck, expertise & fortitude with him to Chapel Hill, N.C. in 1960 to help transform the dream of a Research Triangle Institute and Research Triangle Park into a reality.
