Cinc Hayes
Local artist Cinc Hayes will be showing his colorful and whimsical paintings during the month of May at the Steel String Craft Brewery in Carrboro, NC. The show’s opening night will be Friday May 9, 2014, during the 2nd Friday ArtWalk.
The Luckiest Man
Fortunately for the Triangle, Dr. Edgar “Bud” Parsons brought his luck, expertise & fortitude with him to Chapel Hill, NC in 1960 to help transform the dream of a Research Triangle Institute & Research Triangle Park into a reality. He will be dearly missed.

Most people knew David Honigmann of the Chapel Hill Leather Shop as simply “The Leather Man” who sold sandals. But the man behind the sandals has an incredible life story.
The Cartist
Toby Galinkin is famous around Chapel Hill for her art cars. What started out as a simple coffee cup glued to the roof of her ’75 Slant-6 Valiant, became quite the local phenomenon.
